A golf course casino in Arizona will be attending the PGA Tour for the first time. By the fall of 2023, TPCScottsdale may get home to a 12, 000 square feet DraftKings Sportsbook.
Five years ago, PGA Tour commissioner JayMonahan andndash had little to no interest in the concept of a real casino. Monahan speculated that if he had known where they would have wanted to open one at the moment:
& ldquo, I would have specified this as the location. We are confident that this will bring the Peoples & rsquo, Open to new heights.
According to DraftKings, Scottsdale may gain 100 to 120 jobs as a result of the new site.
Arizona is among many states where opening a physical sportsbook in an established sports venue is legal. Among the 18 Arizona sports betting apps, you can bet in person at the following venues:

- Chase Field & nbsp’s Caesars Sportsbook,
- At State Farm Stadium, BetMGM
Does it make sense to use a golf course betting?
Everyone of legal age is wager using their telephone while watching the event or taking part in different activities nearby because sports betting is permitted in Arizona. Shouldn’t that render the concept of a real casino at TPC Scottsdale useless? DraftKings is placing a unique wager because it thinks the sportsbook caters to different fan types.
DraftKings chief business officer, EzraKucharz, had this to say on the company’s confidence in their upcoming sportsbook:

CEO Jason Robins believes DraftKings in Arizona will also appeal to visitors from states where sports betting is not legal, like California. In Arizona, DraftKings is the leading sports betting operator, seeing more than $215 million in bets for September.
Scottsdale, PGA, and Arizona sports gambling gains
From the DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, the city and the PGA will receive money from it.
The PGA and the commitment it receives from its fans have benefited greatly from sports betting only. Mohan had the following to say about how the way people watch golf game is changing as a result of sports betting:
When you look at legalized sports betting, we & rsquo, you’re seeing more activity in legal markets. Therefore, when we consider our system, cable, and social media broadcasts. the amount of time people spend studying sing, what’s going on in the world of games, and factual information. There & rsquo, a level of understanding and intelligence that is entering our sport, is probably much higher now than it was before. it was five years ago. & rdquo,
The PGA does not currently have any concrete plans for another actual casino location at one of its tour venues. Regarding the potential for additional sites, Monahan said:
We & rsquo will take the findings here and, as opportunities arise, will think about them. But this is special. The TPC Scottsdale and WM Phoenix Open are unique in all sports, not just sport. This is the ideal opportunity for the first one because of that & rsquo. & rdquo,
