FanDuel Sportsbook Renderings Footprint Center

We have just speculated as to where the retail operation may be located since FanDuel Sportsbook partnered with the Phoenix Suns in April at Footprint Center, the residence of the NBA andnbsp company.

Then, a more distinct picture is visible.

FanDuel released renderings for its physical casino, showing a sizable installation at the venue that is home to the Suns, Phoenix Mercury, WNBA, Arizona Rattlers and nbbsp, as well as the Indoor Football League.

Information about Suns & rsquo and FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel became one of the first legal sports betting operators to gain market access to Arizona, as the company aligned with the Suns the same day Gov. Doug Ducey signed off on legislation to legalize regulated wagering.

FanDuel is the first to announce its financial sporting betting strategies in the state four months later.

The betting will be situated on the & nbsp, an outdoor bench, and will cover more than 7,400 square feet. According to a release, it will also function as an & ldquo, fans & rsquo one-stop shop to watch Suns games and other sporting events around the world while placing bets on the action.

The daily-open retail location will have a number of services, including:

  • There are five bets panels.
  • a single VIP glass
  • 40 HD screens
  • 35-foot film wall
  • MVP Space
  • 26 self-service bookmakers

When did AZ start offering sports betting?

FanDuel undoubtedly anticipates expanding its online casino in the Grand Canyon status as well. Additionally, that launch might happen within the following month.

The Arizona Department of Gaming opened the application window July 26 and expects to announce which applicants are qualified for licensing by Aug. 15. If all goes to plan, including proper background checks, tech testing and the like, betting apps in Arizona could go online by Aug. 28 to start marketing and allow customers to set up mobile wagering accounts.

If everything goes according to plan, the ADG anticipates that the first authorized wagers will be placed on September 9 - the first day of the 2021 NFL season.

Maxwell Hartgraves, public information officer with the ADG, said that date stands “for sure” as one for mobile betting apps but that retail sportsbooks “could be in place to a certain extent.”

It’s unclear if FanDuel will be able to open its financial gates by then. But, it seems that the technician is well on its approach to establishing brick-and-mortar operations in Arizona.
