Diamondbacks Games At Chase Field Are Most Affordable MLB Tickets

Chase Field is the most affordable MLB park for a family of four to attend a game.

The Sporting Post recently published a detailed analysis of the affordability of each of the 30 MLB stadiums for a family of four attending a game. Chase Field, where the Arizona Diamondbacks play, was identified as the most budget-friendly, narrowly surpassing the Miami Marlins’ loanDepot Park.

The typical expense for a family of four to attend a game at Chase is $146.

That’s roughly the cost of two tickets to see the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine in LA.

Visiting Chase Field is highly recommended.

Chase Field, formerly known as Bank One Ballpark, is a must-visit location for baseball enthusiasts due to its unique features like a retractable roof and a swimming pool located in the right-center field. Interestingly, the pool can accommodate 35 guests and usually sells out despite the steep price of $5,000 to $7,000 per person.

Chase has revamped its amenities, featuring a splendid retail Caesars Sportsbook right opposite the main entrance. It’s an excellent spot to place a bet using the money you’ve just saved on D-backs tickets. Additionally, there’s Guy Fieri's DTPHX Kitchen + Bar, boasting a diverse menu of the chef’s most popular dishes. Game day at Chase Field offers plenty to experience and enjoy.

Chase offers affordable, unique eateries

The Sporting Post computed the combined cost of four tickets, four hot dogs, two beers, two soft drinks, two hats, and parking for each MLB team.

Chase Field’s premium ticket average price is the most affordable at $22.12. The Chase Field “Value Menu” offers a small beer for $4.99 and a small soda for only $2.99. The same price, $2.99, will also get you a corn dog and popcorn.

Baseball stadiums nationwide have made significant efforts to incorporate distinctive food outlets in their premises, and Chase Field is no exception. Some of their exceptional food offerings include Big Dawgs which specializes in hot dogs, Cactus Corn, Rey Gloria's Tamales that are deemed life-changing, a dough bar, and not just one, but six Cold Stone Creamery locations.

Parking is less than half what it costs to park in LA

The average cost of parking at and around Chase Field is $13.90. For a Dodgers game, general parking costs $30.

You have the opportunity to snag a D-backs souvenir hat for under $10. If you’re considering a Father's Day outing on June 18, you can secure good seats for just $35. Additionally, the D-backs are offering Hawaiian shirts to those sporting dad bods. Not a bad deal for a Sunday holiday. With any luck, you’ll also get to witness the top team in the NL West in action.

Just so you know, Fenway Park in Boston and Wrigley Field in Chicago are the most expensive stadiums for a family of four.

The Diamondbacks are presently leading their division.

Chase Field not only boasts a Caesars Sportsbook AZ within the stadium, but also, Arizona sports betting extends to over a dozen online sportsbooks. This season, wagering on your Diamondbacks could yield substantial returns.

Currently leading the National League West Division, the D-backs are in first place. As they celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2023, they have unexpectedly moved ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the standings, surprising baseball analysts.

The D-backs were not on many people’s radar entering this season, following a 74-88 finish in 2022. However, under the stewardship of manager Tory Lovullo, things have started to gel. The young bats of Arizona, spearheaded by Lourdes Gurriel Jr., have been impressive. Currently, Gurriel Jr. holds a .310 average, placing him seventh in the National League. Despite a slight dip in form, outfielder Corbin Carroll is still batting .300 following a blistering start to the season. Furthermore, Christian Walker leads the team with 36 RBIs.

Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly, two of the four seven-game winners in the National League, are part of the D-backs’ powerhouse on the mound.

DraftKings continues to favor the Dodgers to win the division with odds at -260. The D-backs are the next favored at +425, with the Padres following at +700.
