A woman from Arizona was charged with allegedly stealing$ 5.3 million from two construction companies and a homeowner’s partnership in Mexico. Fraud, embezzlement, fraud, money laundering, and fiddling are among the many offenses for which Helen Dahlstrom is accused. According to specialists, she spent the stolen funds at casinos in Arizona.

A seven-year fraud

An Arizona grand jury handed down an indictment against Dahlstrom on Jan. 24th, 2022. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced the indictment on Mar. 18.

The plan doesn’t appear to be very complicated. Dahlstrom was a bookkeeper for Lauderbach Builders Supply and L & amp, L Manufactured Components, two businesses.

She wrote checks payable to & ldquo, Cash & rdqua, and cashed them using the company books she had access to.

Dahlstrom then allegedly falsified business financial statements between 2013 and 2020, according to the indictment.

Additionally, Dahlstrom is accused of stealing from a Mexico-based people relationship that she was the manager of. According to Brnovich, Dahlstrom fabricated the indictment’s financial statements for Chollo Bay HOA & rsquo.

What & rsquo, what comes next?

Helen Dahlstrom could receive a lengthy prison sentence if found guilty. Arizona and other state aspire to increase the rarity of situations like hers.

There are six casino options in The & nbsp, Tucson, where Dahlstrom gambled away the$ 5.3 million that was stolen. The titles of the two games she used to wash the funds were not made public by the government.

Since AG Brnovich doesn’t have any proof of crime or that the casinos acted carelessly, none of these casinos in Arizona were charged with a violence in the Dahlstrom situation.
