Following the Ruoff Mortgage 500 at Phoenix Raceway, NASCAR had yet another prosperous weekends in the desert. Chase & nbsp won the race, giving Briscoe his first-ever Cup Series victory. The race had not been held since Arizona & rsquo legalized sports betting.
Joe Solosky, NASCAR’s managing director of sports betting, spoke with PlayInAZ about how the organization expects to impact the future of AZ sports betting and how it can continue to expand in the Grand Canyon State.
NASCAR, with Barstool leading the way
In July 2021, NASCAR announced that Barstool would become the exclusive sportsbook of Phoenix Raceway. The Barstool mobile app went live shortly after the state’s September 2021 launch of legal sports wagering.
All came together in period for Phoenix Raceway’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship weekend in 2021. According to Solosky, the agreement between Arizona and Barstool has sparked a lot of interest in the gaming industry. He continues by saying that the speed continued into Ruoff Mortgage 500 over the previous trip.
Solosky remarked:
Over the past two days, & ldquo, I & rsquo have spent a lot of time at their booth, and it is unquestionably full. Because the selection is so large, people are either signing up for Barstool or they & rsquo for the first time and re-placing bets on NASCAR. wider than it was in November, in fact. & rdquo,
On the topic of a retail sports betting space at the track, Solosky stated it is a goal. He says one of the partnership’s objectives with Barstool Sportsbook is to have a physical presence at Phoenix Raceway.
In order to increase traffic throughout the year, & ldquo, on the track side, we’re working to add more events here, whether they be concerts, festivals, etc. Therefore, I believe that Phoenix Raceway will soon have a location below for Barstool’s retail environment and financial casino, within five blocks of the current location. & rdquo,
NASCAR pressing the brake to the material and sports betting
As most people are aware, the stigma associated with sports betting has just recently started to dissipate in our culture. According to Solosky, NASCAR didn’t begin to accept the sports betting tradition until 2019. But ever since, NASCAR has been completely involved.
Integrity was the first partnership agreement we entered into with & rdquo, according to Solosky, in the sports betting industry. & ldquo, We then discovered a data provider it. We established a relationship with concerned wagering for both our fans and ourselves. Then, over the past two years, we & rsquo has joined four different sportsbooks as partners. & rdquo,
There are difficulties in entering the world of sports gambling. Solosky, but, claims it is a fantastic chance to increase their fan base.
What I like about this role is that I & rsquo, I’m encouraged to be aggressive about how we approach it because According to Solosky, it’s finally a way for us to gain new fans. & ldquo, By exposing that sports betting market to a compelling NASCAR giving so they could watch it on television before arriving at the track. You & rsquo, once you get to the track, you’re locked in. & rdquo,
According to Soloskys, NASCAR gaming has grown wildly so far in 2022. He claims that the first two Cup Series tribes of the year have seen more wagers than all of February and March combined in 2021.
NASCAR gambling in Arizona
NASCAR bettingIt might not be something that a relaxed sporting better thinks about. According to Solosky, an effort is being made to direct clients toward included matchups in order to help keep them interested for longer.

According to Solosky, NASCAR is expanding in the sports gambling industry. Finding a way to incorporate conventional betting, such as moneyline, point spread, and over / under, into NASCAR is one of the next steps.
According to Solosky, head-to-head betting and included matchup betting actually lend themselves to that. & ldquo, You have moneyline between the two drivers with the head-to-head betting. With place difference, you can have a level spread. & rdquo,
He hopes that NASCAR and casinos will be able to consider an over / under for the overall number of points a pilot scores in e-sports in the future.
He also recommends jobs gained after the first circle. According to him, it can make NASCAR gaming appear exactly like your gaming card for NHL, NBA, MLB, and NFL betting.
