How Did The Cardinals Do Last Year?
The 2020 campaign was the second for both head coach Kliff Kingsbury and star QB Kyler Murray in Arizona. The previous year, the team went 5-10-1 and finished in last place in the NFC West. Heading into the new season, the hope was for some marked progress.
After entering the Week 8 bye with a record of 5-2, it looked like the goal was going to be cleared by a wide margin. The Cards entered the second half of the season looking like legitimate playoff contenders. It wasn’t meant to be.

Will there be a State Farm sportsbook?
State Farm Stadium could be the home of a retail sportsbook operating under a sports betting license held by the Cardinals.
Given that the leagues and teams have lobbied hard for more inclusion in sports betting, it seems inevitable that the Cardinals will pursue one of the 10 available commercial sportsbook licenses in Arizona.
Arizona law reserves that number of licenses for professional teams like the Cardinals. After the license, they will have the option to build a brick-and-mortar sportsbook at the stadium.
Some other states allow teams and the stadium to offer an NFL betting lounge with televisions and seating. Additionally, there is staff on site to help people download and get started on a betting app on their phones.
